BOOKINGS

Booking for a group of six or less?  Throw caution to the wind and come on down!  We’re open seven days a week including public holidays.  We close Easter Sunday and Easter Monday and from 23 December to 2 January annually.

Booking for a party of six to twelve?  Bookings are invited before 1pm every day excluding the period between 9 and 11.30am on weekends and public holidays.  If your booking is for today it’s best to ring us directly on 33678663.

Booking for a larger party?  Bookings are taken up until 1pm Monday to Friday for groups over twelve guests.  On the weekend, we are able to take reservations for large groups before 8am and after 12.30pm.  There are two options for your group:  long table or a la carte dining. Both options are further explained below.  If our usual closing time of 3pm doesn’t suit, you’re welcome to extend into the afternoon for a flat rate of $150 an hour.

Booking the venue?  A minimum 30 guests is required.  We can accommodate a maximum of 55 for a la carte dining and 75 for a canape style gathering.  After hours venue hire attracts a flat rate venue hire fee of $200 an hour with a three hour minimum.  Our venue hire fee covers corkage, lots of candles, some flowers, linen and staffing.  As we’re byo, we recommend delivering your booze at least one day beforehand.  Our stereo system is suitable to an ipod and we recommend providing your own music.  Dining options include …

the long table … served banquet style.  Start with spiced flatbread and house labnah on arrival.  Follow on with a selection of salads and grilled skewers from our current seasonal menu and then a fragrant curry, jasmine rice and pappadums.  Finish with home made chocolate truffles.  $36 per person

a la carte … start with bread and oil on arrival.  Follow with an alternate drop of three dishes. We’re currently suggesting chicken on a white bean and chorizo cassoulet, crisp skin salmon with fennel risotto and a slow cooked lamb in shakshouka.  Accompaniments for the table include leaf salad with aged balsamic and the obligatory shoestring fries!  Finish with home made chocolate truffles.  $40 per person.

booking for Mothers’ and Fathers’ Days … particularly important for groups of over five and we advise getting in early.  Our sitting times run from 7am to 1pm every ninety minutes.
